The sidecar motorcycle, otherwise known as “kuazi” (跨子) among the biker community in Beijing, is a unique addition to Beijing’s roads and is commonly seen roaring across the highways outside of the city in search of the open road. Modeled after the German WWII motorbikes built by BMW, these CJ750 bikes are slowly disappearing from the streets of Beijing as the local government seeks to reduce motorcycles in the capital. With this design, we commemorate Beijing’s sidecar motorcycles and the thrill of the open road!
侧三轮摩托车，北京车手圈子里俗称“跨子”，是北京马路上一道独特的风景。通常，它们都在北京郊外的高速公路边呼啸而过，找寻开阔的路段。以宝马公司为德国二战时期造的摩托车为样本仿制，CJ750逐渐从北京街头消失，因为首都政府正在缩减街头摩托车数量。我们用这款设计来纪念北京街头的侧三轮摩托车，还有在开放路段上飙驰的惊险刺激。
