NLGX is proud to be invited as a special guest exhibitor at the 2010 International Creative Design Exhibition, November 13-15 in Beijing. Alongside renowned international designers from Italy, UK, France, and China, NLGX will be proudly representing Beijing design with an exhibit presenting our original graphic Ts and NLGX RECYCLED bags.

我国经济的发展正在从工业化时代迈向信息化时代，也就是服务业时代。在过去传统工业化时代，设计主要依附在工业制造之中，相当滞后。目前，我国经济逐渐从”中国制造”向”中国创造”过度，创意设计产业快速崛起，正在发展成为我国现代服务业的新兴产业，许多制造业、新兴产品都是通过创意设计发展出来的。

In partnership with TEDxBeijing, we will together develop innovative ideas and concepts into an exclusive line of specially-designed merchandise. At Uncovering Innovation on Saturday, November 13, we will be launching our first in a series of merchandise, designed by NLGX, exclusively for TEDxBeijing:

A TEDxBeijing Tote bag, awarded to all participants of TEDxBeijing’s Uncovering Innovation Event. The “PEK” ticker graphic symbolizes Beijing’s arrival as an international hub for artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, travelers, and innovators. Our Capital city has become a marquee destination, an attraction that is unique in its time and place in history.

A TEDxBeijing Boarding Pass, specially designed for participants at Uncovering Innovation as a ticket for the day’s journey from PEK Ideas Hub to TEDxBeijing, a destination for new ideas and collaborations.

NLGX’s Co-Founders interviewed by “Notes on Design”

NLGX is a Beijing-based design community and brand founded by Ed Hung and Michel Sutyadi in 2008. After witnessing first-hand the changes taking place in China’s ancient capital city, Michel and Ed decided to capture the new spirit of the city with a fresh and unique lifestyle brand. Inspired by Beijing’s development into a multicultural melting pot of artists, entrepreneurs, travelers and global-minded individuals, together as NLGX they create original designed apparel. NLGX Design and 1626, a leading Chinese fashion magazine, have partnered on a collaboration t-shirt to celebrate their upcoming 3-year anniversary of their Beijing edition. This special edition collaboration design, as well as NLGX’s summer t-shirt designs, are featured in the latest issue (June) of 1626. Check out our feature in the pictures below!
